Job Summary:
RPO Recruitment's client are currently seeking a skilled Electrician to join their team in the Food Production industry, located in Potchefstroom, in the North West. The Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of their facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify issues and troubleshoot problems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
- Install new electrical systems and equipment as needed
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as wiring, switches, and circuit breakers
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to coordinate work schedules and projects
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Proven experience as an Electrician in a similar industry, preferably in Food Production
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Electrician license or certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
