Responsibilities- Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities within the residential, commercial, and industrial solar markets.
- Conduct energy assessments and analyse consumption patterns to recommend appropriate solar system solutions.
- Deliver persuasive and professional sales presentations, effectively addressing customer needs and objections.
- Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and system sizing recommendations.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service from initial contact through project completion.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM and reporting tools.
- Stay up to date with solar technology trends, industry developments, and local market incentives.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless handover and successful project delivery.
- Proven track record in sales within the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Strong understanding of solar energy systems, their benefits, and the underlying technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to deliver engaging, persuasive sales presentations.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing multiple leads.
- Proficient in CRM tools and sales software for lead management and reporting.
- Ability to analyse energy consumption and provide accurate system recommendations.
- Knowledge of local regulations, incentives, and financing options related to solar energy is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
