Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or related field
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
- Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and repair techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the efficient operation of production equipment and facilities.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting tasks as needed.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability when needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Train and develop team members to enhance technical skills and performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to address production issues and implement process improvements.

Physical Requirements:
- Mechanical engineer qualification and must have a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering role/BSc in Mechanical Engineering, B Techs are not a prerequisite.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs is preferred.
- Salary: R700K/yr - R900K/yr, negotiable
