Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to minimize downtime
- Repair or replace defective parts or components in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and address them promptly
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed
