Job Description

RPO's client is actively seeking a highly skilled Quick Response Force (QRF) Officer to join their team in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong background in security and tactical response operations. The ideal candidate will possess experience working with international organizations, exceptional driving skills, and a solid understanding of security protocols. This is a full-time, onsite position.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide rapid response to security threats and incidents
  • Operate and manage vehicle fleets safely and effectively
  • Support diplomatic and international operations with secure driving and logistics
  • Communicate using HF and VHF radios
  • Perform minor vehicle repairs and ensure vehicle readiness
  • Maintain situational awareness and adhere to host country safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Matric certificate
  • PSIRA registered (minimum Grade C)
  • Certification in Auto Mechanics or a related field (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a QRF Officer
  • Strong security background, including experience with security forces or intelligence services (advantageous)
  • Experience with diplomatic security and international organizations
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Proven experience in vehicle fleet control
  • Knowledge of local and international driving regulations
  • Fluency in English
